Keeping Pets Healthy for Over 40 Years
COVID-19 UPDATE 11/2/20:
Due to marked increase in COVID-19 cases we have updated our operating procedures. Our primary goal is to be able to continue providing care to our patients, and to keep everyone in our community safe. Unfortunately, you may notice a longer than typical wait time for scheduling routine appointments. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
In order to ensure everyone’s safety, we have limited the number of personnel in the clinic. Furthermore, we have gone to CURBSIDE ONLY services. We are asking that you call the clinic (715-693-6575) when you arrive for your appointment or for food/medication pickup. If you do not have a phone, please knock on the door and wait for someone to assist you. We require that you wear a mask during interactions with our staff. We are also offering telemedicine appointments for some ailments, please call the clinic to find out if your pet would qualify for a telemedicine appointment.
For end of life care, we are allowing owners in the building with your pet but request that you call to be escorted into the building. We respectfully request you limit the number of family members with your pet. If you are entering the building, masks are required. Masks must be worn appropriately, covering nose and mouth fully.
We will continue to schedule appointments for sick pets, euthanasia’s/end of life care, vaccinations, surgeries, dentals, and follow up care for medication and health needs. The veterinary examining board has provided guidance which allows us to forgo physical examinations for prescribing medications in certain cases. If your pet needs refills for long-term maintenance medication, is otherwise healthy, and the condition is controlled, annual exams and/or bloodwork may be postponed. Refills may be granted on a temporary basis. If it is a new condition, an exam will be needed to diagnose and provide the appropriate medical and/or surgical therapy.
Currently, we are still not accepting new clients. We are accepting new pets for our current clients. Easy Hour Vaccine Clinics are still cancelled until further notice.
If you or anyone in your household is ill or if you have been asked to quarantine by the health department, please inform an employee right away so we can ensure the appropriate precautions are taken.
Please contact the clinic at 715-693-6575, to schedule an appointment or if you have any questions or concerns. Due to the constantly changing public health recommendation, we will keep you updated with our operating procedures as time progresses. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
